Herald's Day is an event held on March 6 by the Department of Tourism and Promotion of the City of Lutsk City Council and marks the beginning of the tourist season in the city. The purpose of the action is to revive and preserve the cultural heritage and historical traditions of the city, increase the tourist attractiveness of Lutsk.

Herald (or Klykun) is a long-respected profession in European cities of the Middle Ages. In Lutsk Castle, heralds (Klykuny) also stood guard at night and "cried" - constantly echoing, and in case of fire or attack of enemies sounded the alarm. Modern Lutsk is guarded by 13 sculptures of heralds (Klykuny) and each of them has its own name.

This year, as part of the Herald’s Day, a tourist map with all the sculptures of heralds located in Lutsk was presented. It has the names and descriptions of all the figures. The Tourist Information Center has prepared a herald quest, during which the they are searched. Jewelers and masters of folk art have prepared jewelry and other souvenirs related to the Lutsk herald.
